MC Hammersmith & Friends in Southampton - Friday 17th July 2026

MC Hammersmith & Friends for a night of Stand up comedy in Southampton- Friday 17th July

MC Hammersmith is the world's leading freestyle rapper to emerge from the ghetto of middle-class West London.

MC Hammersmith at The Attic, Southampton

MC Hammersmith (the alias of Will Naameh), is a multi-award winning hip hop comedian.
He is the world’s leading rapper to ever emerge from the ghetto of middle class west London.

In his live shows, MC Hammersmith performs improvised hip hop comedy. The lyrics and rhymes of his raps are 100% improvised and based entirely on audience suggestions. In this guise he has won numerous comedy awards, headlined weekends at every major comedy club in the UK, sold out multiple consecutive runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, supported Jason Manford on his live arena tour, and is currently on his third nationwide solo tour.

He also writes and performs scripted hip hop comedy tracks, which have gone viral on numerous platforms – most notably racking up over 100 million views on TikTok.

He has over 1M followers across social media.

He has performed alongside famous hip hop and rap artists – most notably rapping for Dave in a viral “Guess The Musician” Beta Squad video, and being invited to freestyle at R.A. The Rugged Man’s London live show. He is also a writer for acclaimed YouTube series Epic Rap Battles of History.

Having started comedy as an improvisational comedian, he trained at Second City Chicago, iO, Annoyance, and UCB New York. He still performs improv today, in some of the world’s biggest touring improv shows – he can frequently be spotted improvising with Baby Wants Candy, Shamilton, and The Spontaneous Players at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and across the globe. He has headlined numerous international improv festivals, and was the first person in the UK to perform improv in an arena.

‘Turns stories into stomach-achingly funny raps as easily as breathing’ ★★★★★ EdFringeReview‘

Bold and hilarious freestyle rapper. His fearlessness is a joy to watch!’– Neil Patrick Harris

‘Super corny delivery but, like, technically, he can rap’– Scru Face Jean

Mike Vaughan

Southampton based comedian Mike Vaughan had been a musician for years with his work appearing on BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio Solent, Voice FM and ITV’s Meridian Tonight. Once he realised that audiences appreciated his chats in-between songs more than the songs themselves, a journey into comedy was inevitable. Mike brings a unique blend of comedy and music where his cheeky personality shines through. Despite only doing comedy for a short while, Mike has already made a name for himself as someone guaranteed to have audiences roaring with laughter.

He reached the final of 2023’s Southampton Comedian Of The Year. He has already appeared on line ups with Al Murray, Mark Simmons, Troy Hawke, Tom Ward, Phil Nichol, Paul McCaffrey, Sean Collins among many others.

“Mike Vaughan is both beautiful and haunting looking (and seeming). He is also very funny!” Tom Ward

Des Grant

A Glaswegian with a dark sense of humour and just enough light to keep things legally acceptable, I blend sharp observations with the kind of punchlines that make audiences laugh and then question themselves on the way home.

Winner of Hampshire Rookie of the Year 2025, I’ve quickly gone from “one to watch” to “probably shouldn’t be left unsupervised,” sharing pro bills with some of the circuit’s most well-known names. My comedy dances between the bleak and the brilliantly daft—because sometimes life’s too ridiculous to take seriously, and too serious not to laugh at.

Equal parts bite and banter, I bring Glasgow grit, a mischievous edge, and just enough charm to get away with it.

Your Comedy Host: Geordie Geoff

Geordie Geoff, born and raised in the Northeast, is excited to bring his unique style of comedy to The Attic. With a reputation as a nice guy, he quickly puts his audience at ease through a laid-back and interactive approach to stand-up. No two performances are the same: Geoff leaves people yearning for more with his famous crowd work, always keeping the audience at the centre of his set.

Known for his perceptive descriptions, laser dot humour, and "say it like it is" attitude, Geoff is brutally funny. The front row becomes his playground, and its occupants become his closest friends.

After countless nights on the road, gigging in pubs and clubs across the country, Geoff's show, 'Catching The Custard,' promises to be "an absolute banging" event in Southampton. Supported by a distinguished line-up, the audience can expect a hilarious experience with custard flying in their direction.

Geoff started his comedy journey at the Edinburgh Fringe and has recently provided support for renowned comedians like Michael Hackett, Steve Hughes, and Martin Westgate. Additionally, he is an established MC, having hosted Mark Simmons, Ben Norris, Dinesh Ranganathan, and Jack Skipper.
